Marcia Fritz is Vice President of California Foundation for Fiscal Responsibility which is advocating for pension reform, post retirement healthcare reform, and governance reform related to benefits granted to state and local government workers.

Ms. Fritz is also advocating for improvements in Generally Accepted Governmental Accounting Standards as they relate to public pensions. As a result of her efforts, The Governmental Accounting Standards Board appointed her to their Advisory Committee to the Board's Pension Accounting Research Project. Results of this project are expected to be released in early 2009.
